The 1960s and 1970s saw the  third-generation of computers,  which had some drawbacks.







They were expensive to create and keep up, which restricted accessibility.

 Limited Memory and Processing Power:  Third-generation computers had much less memory and processing power than computers today.

 Complexity:  In order to function properly, the architecture and programming needed specific knowledge and abilities.

 Heat and Space Requirements:  These computers produced a lot of heat and needed a lot of room to operate.

 Bath processing dependence:  Third-generation computers frequently used batch processing, which could lead to protracted wait periods for results.

 Lack of User-Friendliness:  Users had to have a thorough understanding of programming languages and systems to interact with computers in a natural way.
