A theoretical and technological period in computing history is referred to as the  Fifth Generation of computers.  This generation was distinguished by breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and parallel computing as of my most recent knowledge update in September 2021. It was thought that  fifth-generation Computers  will be able to comprehend plain language, respond to it, learn from their mistakes, and work independently to solve challenging tasks.


It's important to note that the phrase  "Fifth Generation" was created in the 1980s  when experts were considering the potential of computing in the future. Since then, the field has developed further, and perhaps new ideas and perspectives have emerged.  I suggest examining contemporary sources or academic journals to gain the most latest information on the state of Fifth-generation computing.
